About Us

When I was a young boy, my passion was riding and working on 4-wheelers. I always knew that I was going to do something in the power sport industry, but when I turned 17 I found myself joining the Marine Corps.

I was an AAV (Assault Amphibious Vehicle) mechanic for 4 years in the Marine Corps. I got out of the service and went to Cleveland, Ohio where I attended the Power Sport Institute for a year and a half. After getting certified there, I headed to upstate New York where I worked at a motorcycle shop for a few months. Then I headed back home where I landed a job at Longshore Cycle Center in Florence, Alabama. I worked there for 8 years, and while I was there, I attended a variety of manufacture training courses and went as far as a person can go with Honda, receiving my Red level certification. In May of 2022, I made the decision to open up my own shop which brings us to Phillips Powersports.

My goal here at Phillips Powersports is to provide a good, quality, honest service that people can afford.
